How is the treatment performed?
On the day of your first treatment we will provide a thorough consultation including full medical history and any current medications being used. Your face will be cleansed and prepared for us to take you’re before photo’s using our Reveal 3D imager.
The Depigmentation mask is applied to the selected area, which is left on for 8 – 10 hours depending on the severity of your pigmentation. It is advised to come into the clinic early in the day to ensure you can relax at home during the process time of the mask. At the advised time you can then wash the mask, at this point in time you may feel a mild tingling sensation. Your skin will feel tight, red and you may experience some inflammation. Over the coming day the peeling effect with begin.
The results of treatment can be significantly noticed 10-14 days post treatment with visibly clearer and brighter skin. Ongoing results can be seen over the next 4 weeks post treatment.
What to expect post treatment
Most clients will experience a significant improvement after one treatment. Long term results are dependent on home care (inclusive in the treatment package) as well as avoidance of sun exposure and the daily use of SPF. A repeat treatment at 6 months gives the most optimal results, however annual maintenance treatments are also effective.
