5 THINGS TO KNOW (AND HOW TO LIFT INTENTIONALLY)

Theres something grounding about starting your day, in front of the mirror, taking a few minutes to focus just on you. 

We don’t always gift ourselves that time. But when we do, it deserves to be intentional. Unrushed. Purposeful.  

If you’re using Gua Sha at home, here’s how to approach it with intention. 

EVEN IF ITS JUST FOR A FEW MINUTES

1. BEGIN AT THE NECK (ALWAYS). 
Before lifting the face, create space for drainage. 
Using light strokes, glide the tool down the sides of the neck toward the collarbone. This is what allows fluid from the face to move efficiently. 

Lift starts with release. 

2. DE-PUFF THE JAWLINE. 
Starting at the chin, sweep along the jaw toward the ear. Slow, controlled movements. This supports lymphatic flow and helps soften lower-face puffiness. 

Think sculpted, soft upward motion. 

3. LIFT THE CHEEKS. 
From the side of the nose, glide outward and slightly upward toward the temple. 
This encourages circulation and gives that rested, subtly lifted appearance. 

4. SMOOTH THE UNDER-EYES (GENTLY). 
Using the lightest pressure, sweep from the inner corner outward toward the temple. 
This area requires softness. The goal is fluid movement, not pressure. 

5. FINISH AT THE TEMPLES AND DOWN THE NECK. 
Always guide everything back down toward the collarbone to complete the cycle. 

Flow matters more than force. 

Home Gua Sha won’t replace in-clinic treatments, but it will support circulation, reduce fluid retention and help your skin look brighter and more awake. 

It’s less about chasing sharp cheekbones. 
More about supporting healthy function.

Lift with intention.
